A unique opportunity hits the ring on June 14th at the Cudd Quarter Horses Production and Consignment Sale—Lot #88, Metallic Risto, a 2023 gray gelding by Metallic Gray out of Aristocat Goldseeker.
This prospect is a full sibling to Metallic Katrina, the 2024 Riata Buckle Pro Futurity Champion, who turned heads at the Lazy E Arena last fall. Metallic Katrina went on to earn over $80,000 at the Riata Buckle before selling in Las Vegas at the Riata Buckle Sale for $91,000, proving the quality, value, and marketability of horses coming out of this proven cross.
Metallic Risto has had 90 days of training with Dale Bennett, who describes him as “very athletic and talented.” He’s already paid into the Riata Buckle and is eligible for the Gold Buckle Futurities, putting big-money opportunities within easy reach.
About the Full Sister: Metallic Katrina by Metallic Gray out of Aristocrat Goldseeker by Herman Goldseeker, is a 2019 gray mare who was piloted by Cash Duty for the first time last year in Guthrie at the 2024 Riata Buckle Pro Futurity alongside Dylan Ahlstrom. The duo dominated, winning the Open and splitting $72,600.
